On April 29 and 30,  girls varsity golf traveled to Desert Canyon Golf Resort in Orondo, WA. They played 18 holes both Monday and Tuesday. Arlington ended up placing sixth in the tournament out of seven teams.

The team’s scores were:

Kailey Bisson and Taelor Kron (‘24): #6, 180

Kai Janssen (‘27) and Kenna Robertson (‘26): #17, 212

Megan Stewart (‘27) and Ava Tilton (‘27): #19, 226

Varsity coach Jen Case said how she had such a great time and these “girls truly are fun to hang out with.”

Tilton said she “enjoyed playing in a more dry area, definitely better than rainy and muddy. Was really windy the first day but when it calmed down it was super nice. Staying at [Jen’s house] was also a blast, they were just a fun group of girls and I’m really glad I got to experience this trip and want to go back.”

Robertson said, “it was pretty and the view inspired me to do better and calm down if I had a bad shot. It was the best grass I had ever played on.”
