Every single volleyball team put up a fight tonight against Jackson High School. Varsity kept everyone that was watching from home, on the edge of their seats. Winning the first set with a total score of 25-14! Set two and three Arlington unfortunately did not win, with both scores 13-25 by the end. But that did not stop Arlington’s fight tonight! Eagles take set four with a score of 25-11. Making this game go into a fifth set. Jackson ends up taking the win 8-15 in the last set. 

Number three, senior Paige Richards said, “I think everyone played really hard and that’s what matters. At the end of the day, we gave it our all.”

The energy the girls had was inexpressible. The gym was so loud and full of energy. Even the ladies off on the sidelines were jumping up and down when the team scored a point. Arlington kept coming out looking strong in hopes for another win. 

Richards set an overall goal this season and said, “I want to leave my senior year and my senior season, not regretting anything and feel like I left everything I had on those courts.” 

These ladies continuously uplift one another even while playing in difficult times. The key to any relationship is communication and these girls work so hard to communicate with each other on and off the courts. This is just the beginning for our lady eagles!
