For ASL state champion Lily Garrison (12), and runner up Noel Colfelt (12), sign language is more than a class. Both students later hope to dive deeper into ASL, and become interpreters. Garrison and Colfelt both agree that, “Deaf people can do anything a hearing person can do except hear,” said I. King Jordan.
Putting our Hands Together
The show will be held on the 22, and 23 of May and has VIP tickets that let you sit on the stage and you get dessert and drinks. “See how important the community of our music program is, to see how much it means to people” Kendrick Weaver said.

Senior Christian Evanger (126lb) is holding the 2016 State Champion trophy as the team heads for the state tournament. The team's motto this year has been "Won Not Done" because the one state title they earned last year is definitely not going to be their last. Evanger is one of 10 wrestlers headed for the competition in Tacoma.

America’s Game
These are the flags of the three German speaking countries.  The students  are taught the language but also about German speaking countries' culture and history, and Herr Mendro made it fun, and poured his heart into it. “I love how different it is, how you have buildings that are hundreds and hundreds of years old, and you have so many different languages and cultures all intermixed in a small area,” said Herr Mendro German teacher.

I would tell my younger self to not be worried about other people's opinions and to not try to change myself to fit the standard. Have fun don’t stop doing things that make you happy just so other people...
