American Horror Story Season 8 Review

American Horror Story has been on tv since October 5, 2011. Over the years it’s gained popularity for the way the plot line is.

As of 2019 there are eight seasons in total, each one based off of some sort of legend, myth, or even horror story. Each season is unique and the shows characters change but are played by the same actors every season.

The actors themselves are amazing, each one being able to play multiple characters with multiple different personalities. These types of actors tend to be hard to come by as seen with Johnny Depp, the late Robin Williams, and even Helena Bonham Carter.

Evan Peters in the most known actor of the series besides Sarah Paulson and one of the newest additions Billie Catherine Lourd, Carrie Fisher’s daughter. For those who don’t know, Fisher played the iconic role of Princess Leia in the original Starwars films.

I recommend the show to those who are more into horror movies themselves, even though the name has horror in it it’s not really scary as it is more creepy. Each season Capri ages it’s audience with the help of the actors and the mood of the seasons.

With the most recent season being Apocalypse it takes place in the modern world after an atomic bomb is set off and destroys the world. Only those with a certain tolerance to it survived and are being kept in a bunker that use to be an old school for boys with powers.

As the season goes on it tells the story of Michael Langdon, the antichrist who is trying to take over the world. As his story is told problems arise in the modern time as the witches from season three come to defeat him and make sure he doesn’t become the newest supreme.

Overall, the newest season is a good one but there are others that are better. You can be the judge of that if you decide to watch it after reading this review.
