Boys Grind Out Win
The Eagles faced the Cascade Bruins in their first Wesco South matchup of the season. The Eagles jumped out to a 22-10 lead at the end of the first quarter after holding the Bruins scoreless for the first few minutes of the game. In the second quarter, Cascade fought back by finding their way to the hoop off the dribble and were able to keep up with the scoring of the Eagles. Arlington led 36-24 at halftime. During the second half, the Eagles continued to take care of business and maintain the lead they had built. The Eagles remained undefeated in league with a final score of 64-50. Bradey Brummel led the team with 19 points, Kaleb Bryson had 14, and Gavin Smoke and Noah Jones both added 9. Next up on the Eagles’ schedule is a league game at Edmonds Woodway on Thursday, January 9th.
