Girls Soccer continuing to Struggle
The Arlington Eagles Varsity Girl’s soccer hosted Oak Harbor Tuesday, October 3. The final score being 1-2, Oak Harbor with the win.
During the first half, it was a hard battle for both teams to score a goal. It took a little less than 20 minutes for points to get on the board, which was scored by Oak Harbor.
Before the half was over, junior forward, Ali Krediet (‘19), scored the first and only point for Arlington.
Towards the end of the game, there was a lot of pushing and shoving from both teams, but defender Kristin Abraham (‘18) got yellow carded for her actions.
Abraham says, “I mean it happens, I hit the girl in the face so I deserved it.”
Throughout both halves, Arlington and Oak Harbor go back and forth between goals trying to shoot but not successfully making them in.
Hailee Wrzesinski (‘18) is a forward on Arlington. She had many close goals, but with a powerful kick, the ball goes on top of the goal, or out of bounds.
