Arlington Volleyball is going to state this weekend for the first time since 2021 after moving up to the 4A divison.
The Eagles secured multiple victories earlier in the playoffs but won the district game against Lake Washington. This game led them to state. Coming from right side hitter Heather Wood, she was pretty positive they were going to win that game.
“I think if we play our best we got the easy dub,” Wood said. Which she was right because they won 3-0.
This team has a record of 17-7 and are on their way to state to try and take the victory because it would be great for them to win the whole thing. Starting outside hitter and team captain Melissa Hadley has an average kill percentage of 38.8%.
“I’m so happy, so excited for the potential of this team and just seeing how far we can take it,” Hadley said.
Setter Adriana Rodriguez has liked how their season has been going so far.
“I feel like it’s been pretty good for the team and all, we’ve really come together this year, and we’ve been playing together for so long that it’s just kind of coming to a great point,” Rodriguez said.
