
AHS Band members traveled to the Tacoma Dome for the state basketball tournament. Director John Aguilar is new to AHS this year and has breathed new life into the program.

An intense moment driving the ball down the court, Rachel Snow (‘24) was focused on winning the regional game at Auburn so they could make it to state. “I think being in the district championships the last couple of years got me ready for being in the district championships. I wasn’t so nervous and we played really well, we just didn’t end up with the win.” said Snow.

Arlington vs. Burlington-Edison High School January 31 “Celebrating a fun moment after scoring”-Kobi Spady
Kyla Brown 110 (‘26) competed at Marysville Pilchuck High School on January 12. “I was trying to get a take down, and I was kinda nervous because like the other girl on my team won, and I was like ‘oh no’, I knew how good she was,” Brown said.

Boys Basketball
Snohomish Panthers came to Eagle Country December 8. “It was my Snohomish game so it was my best game all year, I don’t really remember what I scored but it was really high in points and I was getting the crowd hype,” Kooy said. The Eagles were victorious 71-44.
At a boys basketball game, the girls were cheering from the sidelines. “I really enjoy cheering at basketball games, because everyone’s there and condensed into one small area cheering for the same thing, so it's very heartwarming to be cheering on basketball sidelines,” Aubrey Roberts (‘26) said.
Cheer
During future freshman night, the cheerleaders are waiting to encourage the new students coming into our school, which is important so the new students are comfortable, and so they were there to help and give them a feel of how our school is.
