When the plans for a home match on September 30th were thrown out and the match was rescheduled to be at Getchell, the Varsity Boys’ Tennis team was thrown off. The Eagles came through, however, and dominated 6-1 over the Chargers of Marysville Getchell. Conner Guthrie ’17, Coleman Davis ’15, and Jesse Vaughan ’15 all closed out their singles matches in just two sets, winning both. The doubles teams of Rawley Davis ’15 and Nick Mendro ’17, Isaiah Mitzelfeldt ’17 and Sean McCauley ’17, and Cameron Reece ’16 and Glen Gamboa ’15 all started slowly, but gained enough momentum to come back and win their second and third sets, closing the match out 6-1.
