Thursday night’s game was against Arlington and Edmonds Woodway. Edmonds Woodway is a very good Wesco 4A north team and they have the same record as Arlington. This was a tough game and Arlington ended up with the win. The final score was 49-48 which as you can tell was a tough exciting game. The whole game either team had a lead on the other of only about 5 points. A fan after the game came up to me and said, “my heart can’t handle that, next time try to win by more”. But those types of games are fun for the players, so we’ll try and keep it as exciting as possible Jayla Russ and Jessica Ludwig both got the high score of the game of 14 points. Jayla said “this was a tough game for me but I’m still glad that I did as well as I did”. Edmonds did a great job of guarding Lyndsay Leatherman and she had a tough game.
