Non-League Lady Domination
Arlington defeated Marysville Getchel last night at the girls’ basketball game. The game was a blow out and the Arlington Eagles won with a lead of 30 in the end. “These games are boring and not fun to play. I would rather play a good team and have it be a tough close game then blow a team out of the water” says junior team captain Jessica Ludwig. There was not much energy in the game last night because not many people were there, along with that the band couldn’t make it so it was quiet. But the eagles never failed to have energy on and off the bench. In the pre-game talks coach Joe Marsh says “not to play down to the other team’s level”. And there isn’t a doubt in anybody’s mind who was the better team last night. The Eagles came out and immediately crushed their opponent, and ended the half leading by 15. The lady Eagles have an awesome team record right now of 3 wins and 0 losses. Even though all of their games were non-league the games will still important. Arlington plays their first league game on Friday against Monroe and the team expects a positive outcome.
