“Originally I wanted to be a nurse, but in school I watched an open heart surgery and was so grossed out that I passed out in the class. Obviously, my teachers told me that I should probably study something else. Eventually, I went into teaching because it is such a rewarding job. I love being able to make a positive difference in students’ lives, along with helping guide students to make the right choices in life.”
