Better Than The Rest

Arlington High School, the place where all high school students want to be.

Arlington High School has attracted many students from multiple academic achievements and extra-curricular activities.

When students at Arlington High School take a look around, they notice a lot of kids that really aren’t supposed to be here. Examples include Nathaniel Beamer ‘16, Emma Vanderwyest ‘16, and Jack Rogers ‘16. These kids transferred to AHS for multiple reasons.

Beamer came primarily “because Arlington has a way better academics than Marysville Pilchuck.” When going into highschool Nate’s parents determined that they wanted him in a better school than MP. They heard about Arlington after the school was awarded the label “School of Distinction” in 2011 and 2012. After Beamer arrived here he got sucked into running for the Cross Country team and says that his teammates and coaches make it an amazing experience.

In addition, Jack Rogers and Emma Vanderwyest switched to AHS for Drama and Music. Jack had visited MP and saw that they have a concrete stage, which really you aren’t going to want to perform from. The PAC was a far better choice for both of them when considering what will benefit them most in their high school performing careers. Our facility is so nice that it attracted Phil Wickham, a rising Christian Artist that had his original song on the top of christian charts for almost 3 months. Last friday he did a concert hosted by the Arlington Calvary Church.

All in all, Arlington High School has been able to take kids from others school districts due to how amazing it really is. AHS has  great academics, and drama programs. All of the new students can find a spot that fits them best, whether that’s through sports, clubs, or school. We truly are better than the rest.
