Christmas is a wonderful time of year. There is food, presents, family, and all the good things that make people happy. Also let’s not forget Christmas break; where the teachers get a breat from the students, and the students get a break from their teachers. When asked “what is your favorite part about Christmas” I didn’t get a wide range of answers. Mr. Nelson said that he enjoys “the time with his family friends”. That could go for most of us; I mean who doesn’t like to spend time with the people who they love the most. Olivia Curnett said “I like getting presents and seeing people’s faces when they open the gift that I gave them”. Not everybody is all about getting gifts for other people but I know for sure that most people like to receive them. Who doesn’t like opening a package, not knowing what is in it? Plus it’s free, and everybody likes free things. When asked this question Mr. Ballew said “I like the food”. That’s typical of most people because everyone likes a good stacking of food on their plate during the holidays. But unfortunately not everyone can afford to celebrate Christmas. There are ways you can help such as donating things to Toys for Tots, Angel Tree, World vision, and many more. Taking the time to donate could help a family have a wonderful Christmas, just as you would like to. Have a merry Christmas everybody and a happy new year.
