Senior Words of Wisdom
-Lizzy Schorr:
-DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! Actually take time on your scholarly paper to do a topic that you like and what you would actually want to do not what somebody else told you to do.
-Carly Robbins:
-Remember to log your hours while you are doing your project. The first time that you do your scholarly paper have a teacher grade it, that will give you a greater chance of passing the first time.
-Chase Fanning:
-Do not procrastinate that is a big no no. And you have to do really well on your scholarly paper that is the most important component to the whole project.
Emily Roehl:
-Get it done! Get your senior project done over the summer it makes it way easier when school starts back up and if possible then get an old presentation and binder, they are way better then a rubric and it helps a lot! With your scholarly paper get a smart person or teacher to grade it before submission and choose a topic that you actually have an opinion on.
Brenton Latimer
-Pay a lot of attention to detail otherwise you wont pass anything the first time and use your time wisely on the senior project.
Becca Thomas:
– Get all of your stuff in on time and if you have trouble with anything then ask a teacher or someone who has already done the work. If you need help with the scholarly paper then brown is a great resource to go to.
Gavin Heater:
-Don’t be condescending towards your reader. Make your paper professional because the main point of it is to report facts that fit to your opinion, it shouldn’t be just your opinion because the point isn’t supposed to be just about what you think. It’s persuasive but not in the old elementary school definition.
