Party of the Game Nerds

Michael Forester, Heather Ulinski, Katelyn Mcdonald, Macall McGee and Albert Abes at the Nerd Out Wednesday October 30.

The commons is the place to be on Wednesday at 3:00. Leadership is holding Nerd Out for the first time in attempt to bring everyone in the school even closer. And what is a better way to do that then to bring games and have lots of free food.

Senior and event planner Dana Capulong said “Nerd Out is a fun idea that leadership came up with to involve and recognize all of our clubs at AHS! That’s the basic idea that we all had. Since it’s an exciting event for everyone (not just club members) we thought it would be even more uniting if we appealed to the entire student body. It is also a sneak peek of what Robotics has in store for the school this year. They always host a game night that is going to be double the fun of Nerd Out, so check that out, too!”

Joel White explained explained that Nerd Out is also being held “simply because we wanted to make sure everyone in the school has something they can participate in. Someone likes video games? Nerd Out is here for them! There is also going to be a live Dj (nothing special), two game consoles running, food, and board games. Its all for fun and its all for free.”

So all nerds of the school, show up and have fun because this is a once in a year opportunity and its going to be fun, filling, and free.
