Daphne Casperson (‘19)
“My dream living location is in the Mont Saint Michel castle in France. The castle is in the middle of a bay, so it is really interesting. I think it’d be cool to live there because it’s a super unique place because when the tide goes in you can’t go anywhere and when the tide goes out you can go back to the mainland. Plus it’s also huge and has a great view for sunsets. It’s also really your own because you don’t have neighbors close or any disruptions,” said Casperson.
Joel Barnes (‘18)
“I dream of living in a townhouse in the outskirts of Kyoto Japan. It’s a very calm place. I love Japan,” said Barnes.
Grae Wittenberg (‘19)
“I want to live in Stockholm, Sweden. The land there is very beautiful and there are farms as far as the eye can see. It’s amazing there. I once went there as a child, but I was too young to remember much. My parents told me I ran around in all the fields when I was three,” said Wittenberg.
Megan Barnett (‘20)
Barnett dreams of living in Oslo, Norway. “I choose that specific location because the Scandinavian countries are all very beautiful” in that they have “stunning forests and amazing architecture because they value artistic skill like that in Europe.” Barnett also values the beauty of Olso, “The fjords in Norway are fantastic and absolutely beautiful. The forests are large and surreal.” As for the architectural wonders in Norway, “they have castles that have been left over from the Viking age and churches left over from Norway’s christening. Which is amazing that those extremely old structures have stood the test of time,” said Barnett. Barnett also wants to live in Olso because, “Norway is a modern city in a historical country.”
Danika Toop (‘19)
“I think it would be really cool to live in Bora Bora because it would be really warm year-round so I could always have a nice tan. The sun sets would be beautiful and it would be nice to be so close to a beach with warm water. It would be fun to live somewhere so unique and tropical,” said Toop.
Payton Bastein (‘18)
“My dream living pace is in Hawaii because I love the nice weather. I love the beaches and have always wanted to go there,” said Bastein.
Shanelle Clark (‘17)
“My dream living place is Disneyland because no matter what time of the year, no matter what time of day, it’s always cheerful. Everyone is so full of joy, how can you not be? It’s Disneyland! I love the attractions. There is nothing like the feeling you get right before the drop on splash mountain. And, I love Disneyland food. Nothing beats walking into Main Street and getting a churro and a Dasani water! I love meeting Disney characters. The most amazing thing is seeing someone play the role of your favorite princess. It’s just an all around happy place. And if I could spend every day there for the rest of my life, I for sure would,” said Clark.
