AHS Drama Presents: Pippin
Arlington High School Drama is proud to present the spring musical: Pippin!
Pippin is the story of a young prince who struggles to find meaning in his life. Many high school students can relate to him, as Pippin has to transverse unstable ground and face twists and turns around every corner.
Showtimes include March 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th all at 7pm. There will also be a matinee showing at 1pm on March 19th for anyone that can’t attend the later shows.
The musical this year is integrally different than years prior, as this show will be including the audience. Characters will be speaking directly to the crowd, and will interact with them as a way to get everyone involved with the cast.
The Leading Player will be portrayed by Andrea Ramirez (’17), and Pippin’ will be played by Josh Basher (’16). Hannah Jensen (’17) will star as Catherine, and Fastrada will be played by Channing Hudson (’16). Adam Wirth (’18) will play Lewis, Rob Neeleman (’17) will play Charles, and Emily Hawks (’16) will play Berthe.
Tickets may be purchased online at the Brynes Performing Arts Center: (byrnesperformingarts.org). Tickets may also be purchased at the door, but it is strongly recommended that you purchase tickets before hand as they are limited and the show is expected to draw a very large crowd.
