The start of second semester Government means there are new Presidential Elections happening. The History teachers have always wanted to be able to have a fun way to get kids interested in Government so making them pit against each other to win extra credit on their tests is the best way to. Last semester Mr. Schilatey had an amazing showing by his 3rd period class. Gareth Henderson came in strong having his campaign ads incorporate kicking Chainsaw (Brian Stehl) down a hill and a sex addicted wife trying to get a little time in the middle of it. Also many other groups searched through Facebook, Twitter and even some old Myspace pages to discover the deep dark secretes of their opponents. Whether its a picture of them seeming insane or them flipping the camera off it was found and exploited. For some of the kids who were social media deprived that didn’t stop the race. Kids went to the computer to photo shop kids heads, bodies and whatever else so that they could look like fools. So as second semester heats up be asking around to see the next batch of commercials and posters of the to be politicians.
