Last semester consisted of many busy months full of competitions for the culinary group. The Skills USA team has been competing in competitions that consisted of leadership activities, resume building, quiz bowls, speeches, culinary communication, baking food, and preparing beverages.  They competed well and Mrs. Bravo was excited with the outcomes however didn’t specify whether they won or lost the competitions. This semester the competitions have ramped up and have become a lot more intense compared to last semester’s competitions. The students who will be competing in them will have a lot more to do with food and beverage preparation. Mrs. Bravo has “total confidence in the upcoming competitions” and her students competing in them. With the new semester, Mrs. Bravo and Mrs. Edwards are excited to see what lies ahead of them.  The students are also excited while they begin preparing for their competitions and continuing their love for the art of culinary.
