The Eagle Co. Packs Hallways, as Students Line Up To Support The Store’s Soft Opening
The school’s infamous learning lab opened up during Thursday’s lunch, announcing its grand opening arriving very soon. The store is excited to be opening back up to the student body, allowing staff and students to embark on a quick coffee trip, and leave with a smile and a complimentary drink, starting the day just right.
“The student store has offered me an amazing opportunity to grow and expand my skills socially and has benefited me with workplace skills that I can take and apply to my own personal job” said Junior and second year student of the class, Jessica Barajas.
But just what does the store even sell? The Eagle Co. offers a range of products, from apparel to our school’s famous energy drinks. The store also accepts both cash and checks. Don’t want to carry loose cash all day? The store now provides gift cards you can use and reload at any time.
But Lotus, coffee, and shakes aren’t the only thing the SBE provides. It’s only just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to what the Student Store can craft.
“We plan on bringing back cookies, pizza, and possibly paninis this year. I’m a senior, so it would be fun to give my peers the experience I was given when I was a freshman,” said Marisa Thom, as she wraps up her fourth and final year with the SBE.
The store is open Mondays through Thursdays, from 7:35-7:50 in the mornings, and open during three lunches.
“I am so excited to see the store thrive this year. I think we have an amazing team and will definitely make kids more engaged in our high school journey,” said Senior and DECA President, Meredith Marsh.
