Plan on trying out for a winter sport? Want to know how to get ready for this year? Well you’ve come to the right place.

“Really excited for this years group. We have a really good senior group and we’ve really improved this year,” Coach Marsh says about his varsity team. Marsh also says that it would help to “play as much as possible and definitely do some conditioning. Get ready to run.”

That’s without a doubt one thing to do when getting ready for a sport. Try to practice and lay as much as possible. If you are trying out for fun or because a friend asked you to, just remember to know as much as possible as you can about that sport.

Some ideas of getting ready would be summer camps or teams, some of which can be a few that the high school provides and puts on. Another great way to prepare would be joining a club team or getting a trainer. Even finding an older friend or relative who used to play that sport could help you learn more.

All in all, just remember to have fun, try your hardest, and be loud, be proud, and be positive!
